I spent four years in FP&A and investment analysis before I started building. The pattern I kept seeing: the analysis was fine, the systems around it were broken. Numbers arriving late, reconciliations eating whole days, reports nobody could act on.

So I learned to build the fix instead of describing it. Today I work with an AI assisted stack, Claude Code first, and ship the whole path: the data layer, the logic, the interface, and the measurement. My rule is that the system decides and the model assists, never the other way around.
