I started in finance and built my AI and automation skills on top of it. That order matters: I automate work I have actually done myself.

In finance, I kept seeing the same problems: manual processes, slow reconciliations, disconnected systems, and reports that took too much effort to produce. So I learned to build the fix instead of just describing the problem.

I map how the work actually happens, find where it breaks, rebuild it with clear logic, and hand it over so someone else can run it. For one trading business, I brought orders, balances, invoicing, and cash tracking into one system. Daily reconciliation went from several hours to under thirty minutes, and the owner has run it solo ever since.

Working out why two systems disagree on a number is the same job whether it is a ledger and a bank feed, a trial balance and a consolidation, or an ad platform and a CRM. The systems change. The problem is usually the same.

I use AI heavily, but I am deliberate about where. The numbers and core logic stay deterministic and auditable. AI handles the fuzzy edges: classification, commentary, exception explanations, and drafting, with human review where it matters. The model suggests. The system decides.

I check my own work before I call it done, and I say when I have not. “Not verified yet” is a complete sentence.

I work remotely from Lagos and have spent the last two years working US hours with US and international clients. I am also building Aperio, finance tools that I use and sell.
